It’s all the rage

All I could see
was insincere, fake smiles
which pushed me to the unbearable edge of being
A sign of an empty heart full of colorful lies
A supposedly innocent defeating look
that perfectly managed to deceive them all
As always,
like a silent observer
who tried to hide her rage
her bitter solitude
her broken, paralysed soul,
I sat and
let him smile
Not a single inch of that rage
has left my heart
I realised.
