Former Atletico Madrid and Sevilla star Victor Machin “Vitolo” has decided to hang up his boots after suffering a serious injury that has left him with little to no playing time in recent times.

The last couple of years have been hellish for Vitolo Machin, as he had not played a single minute of football since the 2022-23 season (when he was on loan at Las Palmas). A succession of injury problems meant that he was always unavailable for action, and now, the inevitable has occured.
Vitolo was with Sevilla between 2013 and 2017 before joining Atletico Madrid, where he made just 101 appearances and was loan out to Las Palmas, Getafe and Las Palmas.
The 35-year-old has played just 324 minutes in total over the past three years, with his last appearance coming against Granada for Las Palmas in April 2023. He has not touch the grass since then, as he has been involve in his rehabilitation.
Earlier this year, Vitolo travelled to Emirates Club FC to train with the hope of signing a contract. But was not UFABET offer a contract.
Vitolo, who has played 12 times for Spain and won La Liga and the Europa League once with Atletico Madrid and three Europa League titles with Sevilla, finally decided to hang up his boots on Monday.
