Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has admitted the coming months will be another challenge for the team as they look to cope without Bukayo Saka.
Arsenal have been dealt a major blow as Saka is set to be out for at least four to six weeks after the England winger suffered a hamstring injury in the 5-1 win at Crystal Palace last weekend.
In addition, Raheem Sterling, who plays in Saka’s position, has also been injury for several weeks, forcing Arteta to think hard about how to deal with the situation.
“We have to look for opportunities within the team and be creative and manage it really well again,” Arteta said.
“How do we adapt to these situations? We can’t pretend to be the same. We have to be different and try to find the best way and still compete to win many games.”
“I’m gathering some ideas. I haven’t finalized anything yet, but I have some ideas. I want to talk to the players to understand how we can create positive energy because we’re going to be different.”
“We’ve been through โปรโมชั่น ufabet times when Martin (Odegaard) was injury. We’ve been through times when we’ve been without five or six defenders, we’ve been through times when we’ve been without a lot of players and we’re going to continue to do that by finding solutions and dealing with it with a positive energy. That’s what we have to do.”
